Holladay City and the Holladay Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the Terry McGinnis Memorial Criterium bike race. There will be three races associated with this event in 2010. The format is each race will last 45 minutes plus three laps. The race course starts on Holladay Blvd. west of the City Offices. Proceeds north to 4500 South, then east to 2300 East. South on 2300 East to the new in- tersection at Laney Avenue and back north on Holladay Blvd.

Here’s what to expect…

• We will take measurements Height, Weight, Age
• VO2 Max, Lactate Threshold (finger or ear lobe prick), Heart Rate & Wattage
• Test usually takes less than 15 minutes, you go until exhaustion
• You’ll be provided with a print out of your results and explanation for training benefits
• Expect to be there to warm up on a trainer, test, then cool down.
• Total time could be around an hour and a half
• Bring your bike for testing
• Bring a couple of towels
• Bring your cycling gear/clothing/shoes/sports drink, etc.
• Bring a trainer for warm up

Rent a Specialized Live 1 bicycle at the Miller Motorsports Park

Attention Motorsports fans, the rental bikes you are considering are offered on-site at the Miller Motorsports park facility for major events in the 2010 season.

Every bit of this fine bike, from the durable aluminum frame and fork to the protective fenders and handy front rack, is designed to help you go about your day on two wheels, and even car-free if you choose. You’ll appreciate the easy-rolling 700c wheels and flat-resistant tires whether you’re riding across town or taking a shortcut down a dirt road. And, the Live is made for simple operation and reliability with a one-speed drivetrain, a rear coaster brake and light and rugged aluminum parts throughout.

Concession is owned and operated by Spin Cycle for the benefit and convenience of Miller Motorsports Park patrons and fans, all bikes are stored at the facility. None exist or are able to be picked up at Spin Cycle in Holladay, if you reserve a bike you will pick it up at Spin Cycles vendor area on the east side of the race track south of the Club house next to the Le Mans cafe…Thank you for renting a bike from Spin Cycle.

Spin Cycle will contact you for Credit Card payment of $25.00 to be applied as a one day rental reservation. This is a non-refundable deposit if you fail to use rental.

One day rental $25.

Security Deposit Authorization of $300.00 required on
Credit Card will be processed on day of rental pickup.

Renter must be 18 years of age, or Guardian must sign.
