The Miller Motorsports Park Cycling Series is a circuit race and the field will consist of three groups. USA Cycling Association license descriptions will be utilized to determine group makeups. Each race will be one hour and one lap, and racers will be able to earn national USA Cycling Association points.
The races will take place twice a month, with the exception of August and October, and will utilize every configuration of Miller Motorsports Park’s 4.5-mile circuit: the 2.242-mile East Track, the 2.183-mile West Track, the 3.048-mile Outer Track and the 4.486-mile Full Track.
The schedule is as follows (date, track, direction): April 8, West CCW; April 22, West CCW; May 6, West CW; May 20, Outer CCW; June 3, East CW; June 17, West CW; July 8, Full CCW; July 22, Outer CW; August 5, East CW; September 2, West CCW; September 23, Outer CCW; October 7, Full CW.

Miller Motorsports Park Cycling Series Race Information
1. The Miller Motorsports Park Cycling Series will be considered a circuit race, the field will consist of 3 groups: A group, B group, and C groups. USA Cycling license categories will be utilized to determine group make-ups. Each race will be 1hr 15mins for the A/B groups and 45 minutes for the C group. Racers must have annual license to earn license upgrade points. HELMET REQUIRED **NO EXCEPTIONS** ALL USA CYCLING RULES APPLY.
USA Cycling points earned will be calculated per rulebook guidelines. A separate points system will be scored and accumulated for the sole purpose of determining Miller Cycling Series standings and Championship. Points will be earned from 1st to 20th place, 20 points for 1st, and 1 point for 20th.
2. Races will take place twice a month on Thursday evenings @ 6:30 PM, WITH A FREE OPEN TRACK NIGHT RIDE ON THURSDAY APRIL 8TH 2010, STARTING AT 6:00 PM AND ENDING AT 8:00 PM ON THE WEST TRACK. Race series will begin on Thursday, April 22nd. Sign in and registration opens each race night @ 4:00 PM and closes @ 6:00 PM, racing begins promptly @ 6:30 PM.

* Qualified Category 3 racers require at least 4 top 10 UCA /USAC finishes in previous year.

5. Price is $25.00 per race for licensed racers and a $10.00 additional fee will be charged to non-licensed racers for a day of license (Racer’s purchasing a one day license will be permitted to only race in group C). Non-licensed racers are encouraged to purchase license after first race. $10.00 additional day of license fee can be applied to license purchase on a one-time basis in same calendar year. A $2.00 transponder rental fee will also be charged for those without their own AMB transponder.
Total licensed racer fee is $27.00 with transponder rental.
Total non-licensed racer fee is $37.00 with transponder rental.
DO NOT BRING ANY OTHER TRANSPONDER MAKE OR MODEL. THEY WILL NOT WORK. ONLY AMB TRANSPONDERS WORK ON THIS SYSTEM!!!
6. Timing and finishing races will be done utilizing the embedded AMB transponder loops built into the race tracks. Racers will be assigned an AMB transponder with it’s specific digital signature that is the property of Miller Motorsports Park. That transponder and it’s digital code will be assigned to the racer for the duration of the series. The racer will pick up their assigned transponder when signing the race entry sign-in log. At the end of the race the transponder will be collected from the racer. You are encouraged to purchase your own transponder from AMB and purchase the MYLAPS Cycle ProChip model (red one) from: http://www.mylaps.com/us_eng/Websites/B2C/cycle/products.
This is a highly accurate system approved by FIM World SuperBike will not be wasted money as this series will continue for many years to come.
7. Parking and restrooms will be available and open at:
- VIP Club House, the Miller Management Building (3 story structure on north side of main gate)
- Grand Prix Building
- The Paddock parking (main tower & garages on east track)
- The Speedway Cafe in between the east and west tracks
- Karting Center Building
8. Spectators and family can observe races from:
- Lawn in front of the VIP Club House – bring blankets and lawn chairs
- Club House grandstands
- Top of the Grand Prix building over the hot pit garages
- Grandstand by the Speedway Cafe and the west track north side grandstands

9. For race participant and spectator safety an EMT will be on site at all events and races, as per USA Cycling guidelines and requirements.
10. There will be a free children’s event that is provided each night of the main event for children between the ages of 4 and 10. Children will be placed in age brackets of 4-5, 6-8, 9-10. Children will ride 1 lap, 2 laps, and 3 laps respectively. Parents are encouraged to bring out the little one’s bike, ALL CHILDREN WILL REQUIRE A HELMET **NO EXCEPTIONS** AND WILL HAVE TO HAVE A RIDE WAIVER SIGNED BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN, every participant gets a ribbon!!!
11. Prizing and awards will be given after each race, 5 deep in each group, which will consist of medals and ribbons, race primes, and other items. Trophies and Grand Prizing will be awarded at the conclusion of the Race Series in October. Event will be hosted by Miller Motorsports Park in the VIP Club House banquet room. Details of this event will be posted well in advance of the end of the Series. PRIZING WILL BE SUBSTANTIAL AND IN THE FORM OF PREMIUM MERCHANDISE, CASH, AND GIFT CERTIFICATES.
